Variables
Blue-colored settings accept variables. Variables are replaced with their values each time the report is run.
Variables are used in the example below to place the date and time the report is generated in the report's center header.

Preview Pane
The Preview Pane (see example above) displays the value that wil be used for the setting at the time the report is generated. It dynamically interprets the variables in the setting as it is edited.
Variable Pane
When a setting is edited the Variable Pane (see below) changes to display the allowable variables for that setting. Entering variable names that are not in the allowable value list may result in an error, which may cause the report to fail.
Double-click a variable to append the variable name to the setting's text box. It will NOT insert the variable name at the cursor's position. For example, double-clicking on the Time variable will insert &[Time] into the Center Header setting. The label at the top of the Variable Pane indicates the setting for which thes variables apply.
